R-89-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 19 2006 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has made available a Beverage Recycling Grant <br />in the amount of $13,853 for the City of Colton, for beverage container recycling; and <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved and adopted on June 20, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be <br />by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby approves and accepts <br />the California Department of Conservation, Division of Recycling, Beverage Container <br />Recycling Grant for the City of Colton. As a result, the 2006-2007 Fiscal Year Budget is <br />hereby amended, increasing the allocations for Revenue Account 225-5889 (Miscellaneous <br />Revenue) and Expenditure Account 225-6020-1325-2306 (Miscellaneous Supply Expense) <br />by the grant amount of $13,853. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1St day of August, 2006. <br />DEIRDRE H.
