Scope of Services to be provided by the Chamber to include: <br />Conducting a Market Night on the 2nd and 4th Mondays, January through April and every <br />Monday, May through December; developing a Relocation Package and establishing <br />partnerships with real estate agencies as residential and commercial — so as prospects <br />express interest in the City, Chamber will: 1) send information to prospects regarding city, <br />schools, etc.; 2) maintain on-going communication with school district, real estate agents, <br />etc., to maintain updated information to include in package; 3) develop committee comprised <br />of real estate agents, local developers, etc; updating the city street map and distributing to <br />key city departments and to the general public; coordinating grand opening/ribbon cutting <br />ceremonies for Colton businesses; maintaining an updated Chamber of Commerce website; <br />submitting a monthly report identifying business inquiries, concerns, contacts, site visits and <br />business leads to the City's Economic Development Department; preparing a master <br />calendar of events happening within the City that may be of interest to businesses, residents <br />and visitors for the Chamber's website and as handouts; conducting at least two legislative <br />briefings for all Colton businesses on issues that may affect them, including garnering <br />business support for the City's DSF strategy, transportation improvements and regional flood <br />control projects; conducting a minimum of six (6) networking/speaker engagements that <br />provide valuable information to businesses (i.e. luncheons or breakfasts); conducting a <br />minimum of two (2) small business development workshops (i.e. how to start a business; <br />how to write a small business plan; financing for the small business owner; advertising that <br />works, etc.) <br />Section 2. The Chamber will submit quarterly documenting performance on or <br />before August 31, November 30, February 28 and May 30 and monthly reports documenting <br />economic development activity on or before the last day of every month. <br />Section 3. In consideration of the Services performed by the Chamber for the <br />City, the City shall pay to the Chamber compensation in accordance with the amounts <br />referenced in Section 1 and shall not exceed Twenty -Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars <br />($25,500) for the 2006/07 fiscal year. <br />Section 4.
