R-16-07 <br />AMENDING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2006, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007, was approved and adopted on June 20, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be <br />by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2006/2007 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, appropriating funds to account number 261-6070-6082-2410 from the <br />police department's State Asset Forfeiture Account for the purchase of a police vehicle. <br />The capital expenditure from account 261-6070-6082-2410 will be in an amount not to <br />exceed $1,612.00 and will decrease the unappropriated account balance in the State <br />Asset Forfeiture Account. <br />SECTION 4.
