R-37-07 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE FREEWAY RAMP IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $126,000. WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved on June 20, 2006; WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the City's infrastructure and aesthetic qualities; and WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE that the City Manager is authorized to execute the joint agreement and any related documents for the Freeway Ramp Improvement Project between the City of Colton and Caltrans District 8 and the City's project share is budgeted as follows: • Increase Transfer Out of Host City Fee Revenue account 240-8102-450 by $126,000 • Increase Transfer In to Capital Fund 450-8101-240 by $126,000 • Increase budget in account 450-0721-6940-3890 by $126,000.
