R-60-07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA LIBRARY GRANT FUNDING AND AMENDING <br />THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, <br />2006 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved additional State Library <br />Grant funding in the amount of $9,619 for the Colton Public Library, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget <br />shall be by approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino <br />County, California authorizes the acceptance of additional Library Grant Funding from <br />the State of California, Public Library Fund. Therefore, it is necessary to make an <br />amendment to the 2006-07 Fiscal Year Budget. Expenditure Account 211-6200- <br />7104-4930 and Revenue Account 211-5700-5772 are each hereby increased by the <br />grant amount of $9,619. <br />SECTION 2: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and <br />incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
