Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Award of City's Traffic Signal Maintenance Date: June 27, 1988 <br />Contract, City Project #P&8-8 <br />On June 21, 1988 staff received and opened two bids for the City's traffic signal <br />maintenance contract. Staff originally recommended that a two year contract be <br />awarded. However, staff now recommends that the contract be extended an additional <br />10 months to June 30, 1991. The extension will enable the contract to fall within <br />the City's fiscal year and allow for better budgeting of funds. Listed below are <br />the bid results <br />Superior Signal Service $55.30 per intersection <br />Signal Maintenance Inc. $61.30 per intersection <br />RFXTNMENLATICIV: <br />Staff recommends that Council award the City's traffic signal maintenance contract <br />to Superior Signal Service in the bid amount of $55.30 per intersection.and approve <br />the contract period extension to June 30, 1991. <br />/Ij <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />Item No. <br />
