Keane, Assistant City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid on Transformers for the Electric Dept. Date: July 11, 1988 <br />to R T E Corporation in the. Amountof$8,299.80 and <br />WESCO Utility in the Amount of $20,871.40. <br />On June 30, 1988, we advertised for quotations for various size transformers <br />for the Electric Department. Bid opening was held at 2:00 P.M., July 11, <br />1988 in the General Services office. A Bid Analysis is attachedshowing <br />the Load Loss Evaluated Cost which is how we determine the successful <br />bidder on transformers. The evaluated cost of the vendors to whom we are <br />recommending bid award is underlined on the Bid Analysis. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to R T E Corporation <br />for the single phase transformers in the amount of $8,299.80 and to WESCO <br />Utility for the three phase transformers in the amount of $20,871.40 <br />Report prepared by K.L.
