CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For 'Council Meeting of May 17 , 19 8 8 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FRONT: Leslie A..Keane, Assistant City Manager <br />SUB4ECT: Reject All Bids Received on La Cadena Date: May 9, 1988 <br />Drive Underground Electrical System, <br />Job Number 88-02. <br />On March 17 and March 24, 1988, we advertised for quotations <br />to install conduit along La Cadena Drive for the underground <br />electrical lines for new street lighting. Bid opening was <br />held at: 10:00 A.M., April 6, 1988, in the General Services <br />Office. <br />It has been decided by staff to re -assess the area covered <br />in the bid to see if the ornamental light standards could <br />be used between street intersections for lighting to pre- <br />serve a part of the City's history. Following re -design, <br />the project will be re -bid. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that all bids on the <br />La Cadena Drive Underground Electrical System, Job Number <br />88-02 be rejected. <br />Report prepared by K.L.
