City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Dump Trucks for Public Date: December 22, 1988 <br />Works/Parks, Streets and Water, to Los Angeles <br />Freightliner/GMC in the Amount of $102,500.04. <br />On November 3, 1988, we advertised for quotations for 5 yard dump <br />trucks for the Parks, Streets and Water Divisions of the Public <br />Works Department. Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., November 21, <br />1988, in the Electric Department conference room. <br />Five bids were received on this requirement but, two of the <br />biddersdidnot submit the required bid security and, their bids <br />were therefore non-responsive and not read at the bid opening. <br />A Bid Analysis is attached showing the price and delivery of the <br />three good bids The bidder's price to whom we are recommending <br />bid award is underlined. <br />RE.COMMENDATI:ON Staff recommends that bid award be made to Los <br />Angeles hre:ightliner/GMC in the amount of $102,500.04. <br />Report Prepared By: K.
