WHEREAS ENGINEER has specialized knowledge, training and <br />experience necessary for the work to be performed; and <br />WHEREAS ENGINEER desires to perform professional engineering <br />services for CITY under contract; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it mutually agreed as follows: <br />I. Professional engineering services to be performed by the <br />ENGINEER in conjunction with the aforementioned PROJECT shall <br />consist of: <br />A. Design Engineering Services <br />1. Following review meeting and receipt of CITY's <br />authorization, prepare construction plan(s). <br />2. Prepare specifications required for the PROJECT <br />including bid schedule for optional well sizes, <br />CITY's standard general conditions and contractual <br />documents, and ENGINEER's technical specifications. <br />3. An estimate of probable cost for the project shall <br />be prepared based upon the final plans and <br />specifications. <br />2 <br />
