June 13, 1989 <br />laneous Parts for the Period July 1, 1989 <br />through June 30, 1990 to San Diego Rotary Broom <br />On May 18, 198'9, we advertised for bids on a one year contract for <br />Street Sweeper Brooms and Miscellaneous Parts on anus required <br />basis. An open purchase order is to be established for this require- <br />ment. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., June 6, 1989, in the General <br />Services office. Two bids were received for this requirement. The <br />bid from Kern Equipment Co. would only cover miscellaneous parts.on <br />the FMC Brand Street Sweepers. San Diego Rotary Broom bid on all our <br />estimated requirements. A Bid Analysis is attached showing the quoted <br />prices for the most commonly used brooms. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to San Diego <br />Rotary Broom and that an open purchase order be established for the <br />period July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1990. <br />Report Prepared By: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of___L_ <br />M.
