KEANE,, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Automotive Tires, Tubes and Date June 13, 1989 <br />Repair. Service as Required for the Period <br />July 1, 1989 thru June 30, 1990, to Parkhouse <br />Tires in the ]Estimated Amount of $39,460.20. <br />On May 18, 1989, we advertised for bids for annual automotive tire, <br />tube and repair service requirements as generated for vehicles as- <br />signed to various City departments. This contract will -be on an as <br />required basis for the period July 1, 1989 thru June 30, 1990. <br />Bid opening was held at 10:00 A.M., June 1, 1989, in the General <br />Services office. Two bids were received for these requirements. <br />A detailed Bid Analysis is attached which reflects estimated total <br />cost, discount terms:, delivery, hourly labor rate and any discounts <br />from manufacturer's list prices for miscellaneous parts. The`, <br />recommended'vendor''s price is underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to <br />Parkhouse Tires in the estimated amount of $39,460.20. <br />_Report Prepared By: 'M:.
