SCOPE OF SERVICES
Phase I - Well Design
Task 1 - Introductory Meeting
Upon execution of an agreement for professional services, J. F. DAVIDSON
ASSOCIATES, INC.'s Project Engineer will meet with the City's staff to review the
main elements of the project, discuss tentative scheduling, and review data and
materials assembled by the City.
Task 2 - Well Site Analysis and Report
An analysis will be made of the given well site in order to establish criteria for a
successful well, both as to production capability and water quality. A letter report will
be prepared that summarizes the evaluation of the well site and presents recommended
criteria for well development and design.
Task 3 - Well Design
Development of a well design for the given well site. The well design will take into
account any known geohydrologic features of the selected site.
Based on a preliminary review of existing well information and reports, we anticipate
that "reverse rotary" drilling will be specified. Previous experience has shown this
method reduces drilling time and results in high capacity wells.
Estimated depth will be 1000', with either 18" or 20" casing provided.
Contract documents will be prepared and will include specifications, well drawings, and
all contract procedural information. A final cost estimate will be prepared and
submitted with the final plans and specs.
