Aguilera, Director- <br />CoMmunity Development Department <br />SUBJECT: ANNEXATION - TRANSFER OF" PROPERTY' TAKES To THE <br />CITY OF COLTON FOR ANNEYATION SOUTH 48 (BELCo), <br />LAFCO 'NUMBER 25135 <br />r <br />BACKGROUND, <br />The Local Agency g Formation Commission (LAFCO) recently approved <br />Annexation 48, hAFCO Number 2535. The property to be annexed <br />i <br />is located North r of Malibu Ct. along. Reche Canyon Rd_ <br />LAFCO requires that the city adopt a resolution indicating the <br />redistribution of property taxes in the area between the 'city <br />and Sari Bernardino County. <br />The attached resolution,meets the�Xequirements,of LAFCO. The <br />County Board of Supervisors will also take action to adopt a <br />similar resolution. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff;`recommends . approval of tax negotiations with the County <br />of San Bernardino for Annexation 48, LAFCO Number 2535 (Belco), <br />and the' adoption of the attached resolution <br />JRA:MRD/dt <br />Report Prepared By: MARTHA R.
