Keane, City Manage <br />SUBJECT: Reject Bids for 5th Street Curb and Date November 2, 1989 <br />Gutter. <br />On October 3, 1989, we advertised for quotations on the <br />5th Street Curb and Gutter project. After the bids were <br />received and opened,. Staff determined that changes could <br />be made to reduce tyre cost of the project. There were <br />also some administrative errors in the bid documents. <br />Since this is a CDBG project, it is important these errors <br />be corrected. <br />It would be in the best interest of the City to reject all. <br />bids and make the required corrections in the bid documents. <br />RECOMMENDATION Stc-iff recommends that Council reject all <br />bids and authorize staff to re-bid the 5th Street Curb <br />and Gutter Project. <br />Report prepared by K.
