NOTICE INVITING BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the Citi: of Colton has authorized the City- Clerk to advertise for sealed bids for furnishing of supplies, services and/or equipment described below. Bids will be received at the General Services office of the City of Colton up to the hour of 2:30 P.M. on the 9th day of October, 1989 at which time all bids will be publicly opened, declared and explained. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 10% of the bid amount submitted. The bd.amount shall include all taxes, freight and/or handling charges and all other costs to be paid by the City. The bid security shall. be in the form of cash, cashier's check or certified check signed by a responsible bank or by a bond in said amount and payable to the City, signed by the bidder and an admitted surety insurer. Said bid security shall be a guaranty that the bidder, will., if an award is made to him in accordance with the terms of the submitted kid, execute a contract in the .form and manner and furnish performance, and/or labor and material bonds as required in the Bid Specifications for this notice. Stich contract and bonds most be executed and furnished within ten (110) days of the notice of award of contract. Bids shall be submitted on contract document farms to be obtained at the General Services office of the City of Colton for a fee of S -0 Contract documents will consist of the herein Notice Invi.t.ing Bids, Bid Proposal and Form of Agreement as prepeLred and required by the City of Colton. Description of supplies, services and/or equipment is as follows: VARIOUS KEARNEY'PRODUCTS FOR THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT.
