Keane, City Manager <br />Award of Bid for New Vehicles for the El ctric Dept. <br />SUBJECT: e <br />Parks and Sanitation to L.J. snow.in the Amount of Date: August 25, 1989 <br />$11,792.50, Inland Motors in -the Amount of $12,815.40 <br />and Sunland Ford in the Amount of —15,117.72 <br />On,August 10, 1989 we advertised for quotations for a pickup with <br />utility body for the Electric Department, a 1-, ton pickup for Parks <br />and a 1 ton cab & chassis for Sanitation. Bid <br />opening was held at <br />2:30 P.M., August 24, 1989 in the <br />General Services Office. A Bid <br />Analysis i' h <br />s attached showing the <br />Price and.availability with.the <br />recommended vendor's price underlined. <br />Two vendors submitted bids that did not meet the specifications <br />required by the City. These are noted on the <br />Bid Analysis form. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to L.J. Snow <br />in the amount of $11,792.50, to Inland Motors in the amount of <br />$12,815.40 and Sunland Ford in the amount Of <br />$15,117.72. <br />Report prepared by K. L. 1.
