LAW OFFICES OF <br />BEST, BEST & KRIEGER <br />MEMORANDUM <br />March 27, 1990 <br />TO: MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL, CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY <br />FROM: AGENCY COUNSEL <br />RE: COLTON SENIORS HOUSING PROJECT <br />In connection with the financing of the Colton <br />Seniors Housing Project (the "Project"), the Redevelopment <br />Agency is committing a portion of its low and moderate <br />income housing tax increment from all six of the <br />redevelopment projects of the Agency to the Project. Under <br />provisions of Section 33334.2(g) of the Health and Safety <br />Code, when low and moderate housing moneys are proposed to <br />be used outside of a redevelopment project area, both the <br />Agency and City Council are required to make findings that <br />such use will benefit the involved redevelopment projects. <br />The attached resolution makes this necessary <br />finding.
