Dickey, Associate Planner <br />fil <br />SUBJECT: Additional Funding Requests for the DateMarch 27, 1990 <br />1990-1991 Community Development <br />Block -Grant Program Set for Public Hearing <br />BACKGROUND <br />Community Development Staff recently received <br />additional 1990-1991 project funding requests for the <br />Y.M.C.A. from the San Bernardino County Department of <br />Economic and Community Development. <br />Although the City Council previously adopted Resolution <br />R-11-89 on February 20, 1990, prioritizing the <br />1990-1991 CDBG projects to be funded, the Y.M.C.A. <br />requests were received late from the San Bernardino <br />County Economic and Community Development Department, <br />on March 26, 1990. <br />The City is required to meet Housing and Urban <br />Development (HUD) requirements by allowing all CDBG <br />funding requests to be considered publicly prior to the <br />funding allocations being approved by HUD. <br />In compliance with Federal regulations, Staff is <br />requesting that a Public Hearing be set for April 17, <br />1990, in order to consider these requests and allow for <br />public comment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />If Council concurs with Staff's recommendation, a <br />motion to set this item for Public Hearing on April 17, <br />1990 is in order. <br />CITY MANAGER CONCURRENCE <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of <br />Item No. <br />
