NOTICE INVITING BIDS t fuli JUL 1 31990 Loss Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the Cite of Colton has authorized the City Clerk to advertise for sealed bids for furnishing of siipplies, services and./or equipment described below. Bids will be received at the General Services office of the City of Colton up to the hour of 10:00 A.M. on the 24th day of July, 1990 atwhich time all bids will be publicly opened, declared and explained. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 10% of the bid amount submitted. The bid amount shall include all. taxes, freight and/or handling charges and all other costs to be paid by the City. The bid security shall be in the form of cash, cashier's check or certified check sig -rued by %i responsible bank or by a bond in said amount. and payahle t.o the City, signed by the bidder and an admitted surety insurer. Said bid security shall be a guarantti- that the bidder will, if an award is made to him in accordance with the terms of the submitted bid, execute a contract in the form and manner and furriish 1:>erformance and/or labor and material bonds as regi.iired in the Bid Specifications for this notice. Such contract. and bond; must he e�.ecuted and furnished within ten (1.0) days of the notice of award of contract. Bids shall be submitted on contract document forms to be obtained at: the General Services office of the Cita- of Colton for a fee of S -0-.. Contract documerits will consist of the herein Notice.
