CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF August 21, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Proposal to Remove Sludge from Colton Waste Treatment Plant <br />by Varela Industries <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Varela Industries is the only known permitted source to remove sludge to Mexico <br />(sole source). If landfill disposal was available the landfill tipping fee is <br />$25/ton less any trucking costs.
