The City Council intends to take the time <br />that is required to make the decision selecting a new City Manager, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide interim management between the <br />date of the departure of Leslie Keane and the selection of her successor. <br />Accordingly, the City Council is acting now to make the appointment set forth <br />below and is doing so with the intent to select a new City Manager and appoint <br />that person upon completion of the selection process. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, <br />appoints as City Manager of the City of Colton effective <br />at the end of the day, February 16, 1990. <br />The salary is fixed at: per month. <br />Salary <br />Range A B C D E <br />City Manager 8.0 5169 5427 5699 5984 6283 <br />Benefits shall be as provided City Executive Employees. <br />The amount of the bond is fixed at $10,000. <br />In the event that the person above appointed City Manager is unable <br />to exercise the duties of City Manager by reason of disability, absence or <br />the like, then is designated to perform such duties during <br />such period of disability or absence. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1990 <br />ATTEST: <br />FRANK A.
