Aguilera, Director of Community Development <br />SUBJECT: Adoption of the 1988/90 "Building Codes" Date:Feb. 15,1990 <br />and Related Fees <br />Attachments: <br />BACKGROUND <br />Every two to three years the State amends the <br />building codes by which cities govern building <br />construction. The local jurisdictions are required <br />to adopt the new codes within one year of the <br />State's certification.
