The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided <br />therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all <br />that portion of Centerpointe Dr. east of Mt. Vernon Ave. and <br />northerly to Santo Antonio Dr. as recorded in Map Book 72, <br />pages 32-34, records of San Bernardino County, California <br />described as follows: <br />Centerpointe Dr., easterly from the right-of-way <br />line of Mt. Vernon Ave. to the southerly pro- <br />longation of Santo Antonio Dr. as shown on Parcel <br />Map #7327. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street <br />purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the <br />closing of said streets, with the City reserving all utility <br />easements, and provided further that such abandonment and <br />vacation shall be null and void and of no further force and <br />effect in the event Gatlin/Berger Development, Inc. fails .to <br />acquire in fee Parcel Nos. 3 and 4 of Parcel Map #7596, in the <br />City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, <br />as per Map recorded in Book 76, Pages 39-40, inclusive, in the <br />office of the County Recorder of said County; Parcel Nos. 1-4 <br />
