Hutton, Director of Public Workolr <br />SUBJECT: Approval to Set a Public Hearing on July 3, 1990 Date: May 24, 1990 <br />for the Vacation of Centerpointe Dr. east of <br />Mt. Vernon Ave. <br />As Council is aware, Walmart is proposing a major development east of Mt. Vernon <br />Ave. and south of Santo Antonio Dr. As a part of this project, Centerpointe Dr. <br />must be vacated in order to accommodate the proposed development. <br />The Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed vacation as recommended by the <br />City Traffic Committee and has recommended the vacation with the conditions as <br />outlined in the attached Resolution. <br />STAFF RECCIM ENDAT ION : <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Resolution setting a public hearing <br />for the vacation of Centerpointe Dr. on July 3, 1990. <br />JCH/lj <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page 1 of-- Item No. /12 <br />
