AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br />17th <br />day of <br />July , 1990, by and between the CITY OF COLTON, a Municipal <br />Corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and HAWKINS, <br />ROBERTSON & ASSOCIATES, INC., duly licensed Civil Engineers of <br />Riverside, California, hereinafter called the "Engineers." <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the Engineers have been named as City Grading Plan <br />Check Engineers for the City by the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Grading Plan Check Engineer has certain <br />responsibilities and duties to the City which should be set forth <br />in writing; and <br />WHEREAS, said City requires consultation from time to time on <br />specific engineering matters; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and the Engineers to <br />set forth in writing the obligations and responsibilities of each <br />party relating to the services of the City Grading Plan Check <br />Engineer; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual <br />benefits which will accrue to the parties hereto in carrying out <br />the terms of this Agreement, it is mutually understood and agreed <br />as follows: <br />
