CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 5, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR CUSTOMER <br />SERVICES MANAGER <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Staff found that the duties presently performed are more responsible <br />and at a higher level than those described in the present job <br />specifications for Customer Service Supervisor. The level of duties <br />were found to be more comparable to those mid -manager level positions <br />in the City. <br />Staff has prepared a new job descriptions to include the additional <br />duties, responsibilites, skills and abilities. The new classification <br />is recommended at salary range 10.0 in the Management/Confidential <br />Unit. This range is comparable to that of the Senior Accountant. Her <br />salary will be paid out of current account. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the adoption of the attached job description and <br />salary resolution amending the Pay and Classification Plan for <br />Customer Services Manager. <br />Report prepared by Sandra Knight, Human Resources Manager <br />Page 2 of Item No. <br />
