CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT ..:ONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF June 19,__ 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Barton Road, Reche Canyon, Hunts Lane <br />F.A.U. Resolution # <br />Note: At present Cal -Trans is basing the matching funds percentage <br />on a 86$/14% ratio, due to this project also including two new <br />signals and intersections which receives 100% reimbursement. Cal - <br />Trans is reviewing the actual reimbursement/matching funds ratio <br />which will be formulated for this project. The actual percentage <br />of funds Colton could anticipate matching could be less than the <br />present 14%. Cal -Trans has advised a determination shall be made <br />in a timely fashion. <br />STATEMENT OF THE -PROBLEM <br />The City Council will need to approve the attached Resolution <br />if the City is to receive F.A.U. reimbursement for the preliminary <br />engineering and design work. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City of Colton provide all funding on this project. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The City will be reimbursed $74,706.00 for the preliminary <br />engineering and design work. Estimated cost $87,000.00. Colton's <br />matching funds are $12,294.00. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />Negative Declaration attached (copy). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the approval and adoption of the attached Resolution. <br />Report Prepared By: David M.
