RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND <br />FUNDS AFTER JULY 1, 1990, TO CONTINUE NORMAL <br />CITY OPERATIONS PENDING ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET <br />FOR THE NEW FISCAL YEAR. <br />WHEREAS, several factors have caused the delay of the completion <br />of the 1990-91 Fiscal Year Budget, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed formal budget has been presented to the <br />City Council and is now being studied and reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the process to adopt the budget will not be completed <br />until after July 1, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, the public interest, welfare, and safety require the <br />continuation of the operations of the City without interruption; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is <br />authorized and directed to continue the normal operations of the City <br />after July 1, 1990, until formal adoption of a budget for the new fiscal <br />year, and to expend funds substantially as provided in the approved <br />budget for Fiscal Year 1989-90. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this day of June, 1990. <br />FRANK A.
