On 14 February <br />1990, during their regular meeting, the Commission <br />took action to recommend appointment of Mr. Don <br />Hines. Mr. Hines was recently recognized by you <br />and the Council for his volunteer work with the <br />Historic Preservation Survey. Mr. Hines has <br />indicated his willingness to serve on the <br />Commission and has exhibited a genuine interest in <br />preserving Colton's past. Mr. Hines has been a <br />long—time Colton resident and he is currently <br />refurbishing his own historic home located at 626 <br />N. Ninth St. <br />
