CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 20, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Jerry Young, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Forklift to Southwestern Material Date: March 15, 1990 <br />Handling in the Amount of $31,941.94 and a Pallet <br />Jack to Johnson Lift in the Amount of $6,230.00. <br />On March 1, 1990, we advertised for quotations on a new forklift <br />and pallet jack for the new Corporate Yard. Bid opening was held <br />at 2:00 P.M., March 13, 1990 in the General Services office. A <br />Bid Analysis is attached showing the price and delivery for the <br />two bids received. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made for the <br />forklift to Southwestern Material Handling in the amount of <br />$31,941.94 and for the pallet jack to Johnson Lift in the amount <br />of $6,230.00. <br />Report prepared by K.
