CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of MAY 1. 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: <br />JERRY YOUNG, CITY MANAGER <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT Date:APRIL 26, 1990 <br />AND ADOPTION OF BUDGET FOR SUMMER YOUTH <br />EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM <br />On April 23f 1990 the Human Resources Division received official <br />notification that it has been awarded $106,$00 to operate a summer <br />youth program through the County Office of Career Training and <br />Development. Through this programs the division will offer <br />employment and training for 100 economically disadvantaged youngsters <br />in Colton, Grand Terrace, and the unincorporated areas of San <br />Bernardino County. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is staff's recommendation that Council adopt the proposed budget <br />and budget adjustment for the operation of a summer youth employment <br />program. In addition, it is recommended that Council authorize <br />Sandra Knight, Human Resources Manager, to enter into an agreement <br />and perform related transactions, on its behalf with the County <br />Office of Career Training and Development. <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of Item No. <br />s <br />ILS t4® <br />S 2 <br />
