CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of May 1, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: David Michael Davis, City Librarian <br />SUBJECT: Authorization to transfer FY 89-90 CLSA Date: April 24, 1990 <br />Library Literacy Grant Monies to Library <br />Expenditure Account. <br />The Colton Public Library has received the second installment of grant <br />monies ($45,800) from the California State Library CLSA California <br />Literacy Campaign for FY 89-90. The Library will receive $91,600 <br />during this year. <br />Funds are being utilized for staff salaries and benefits, office <br />supplies, special tutorial supplies, promotional materials, rental <br />of literacy trailer and the purchase of books and audio visual <br />materials. The attached expenditure/encumbrance report further <br />delineates the State's appropriation. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council authorize the transfer of State grant <br />revenues from 01-0653 for FY 89-90 to Library Expenditure Account <br />01-8003. <br />City Manager Concurrence <br />Attachments: Expenditures/Encumbrances Report <br />Budget Adjustment Request <br />Page 1 of—L— r Item No /Q <br />r C- <br />��w .....__ ........... <br />
