R-`�-90 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF WELL NO. 5 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />declares that the repair of Well No. 5 to be an emergency; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section <br />20168 allows for emergency work to be done to safeguard the <br />life, health or property of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City <br />Council waives the bid processing procedure for the <br />immediate repair of Well No. 5. in order to safeguard the <br />life, health and property of the public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of <br />May, 1990. <br />APPROVED S TO FORM: <br />7v/� <br />STEPHEN W.
