2 RESOLUT ION NO. ',�36 <br />3 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />4 CITY OF COL'TON ORDERING THE -ABANDONMENT OF <br />LITTLE COLTON AVENUE AT MT. VENON AVENUE <br />5 <br />6 BE IT RESOLVED.by the City Council of the City of <br />7 Colton as follows: <br />.8 SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />9 having elected to'proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />10 et. seg. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />11 California, and having held a public hearing as provided <br />12 therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all <br />13 that portion of -Colton Avenue at Mt. Vernon Avenue as <br />14 recorded in Map Book 88, Page 19, records of San Bernardino <br />15 County, California described as follows: <br />16 Being all that portion of Colton Avenue <br />as shown on the map of the Colton Avenue <br />17 Tract in the City of Colton, County of <br />San Bernardino, State of California, as <br />18 per Map filed In Book 19, Page 88, Records <br />of said County, lying 36.00 feet North - <br />19 westerly of a line parallel with and <br />Northwesterly 42.00 feet from the Center - <br />20 line of saidColton Avenue as shown on <br />said Map, said portion being bounded on <br />21 the Northeast by the Westerly line of Mt. <br />Vernon Avenue 82.50 feet in width and on <br />22 the Southeast by a line measured at right <br />angles from the most Southerly corner of <br />23 Lot 20, Block 23 of said Tract. <br />24 is unnecessary for present or prospective public street <br />25 purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the <br />26 closing of said streets, with the Cit y reserving all utility <br />27 easements. <br />28 SECTION 2.
