2 RESOLUT ION NO. ',�36 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 4 CITY OF COL'TON ORDERING THE -ABANDONMENT OF LITTLE COLTON AVENUE AT MT. VENON AVENUE 5 6 BE IT RESOLVED.by the City Council of the City of 7 Colton as follows: .8 SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton 9 having elected to'proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 10 et. seg. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of 11 California, and having held a public hearing as provided 12 therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that all 13 that portion of -Colton Avenue at Mt. Vernon Avenue as 14 recorded in Map Book 88, Page 19, records of San Bernardino 15 County, California described as follows: 16 Being all that portion of Colton Avenue as shown on the map of the Colton Avenue 17 Tract in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as 18 per Map filed In Book 19, Page 88, Records of said County, lying 36.00 feet North - 19 westerly of a line parallel with and Northwesterly 42.00 feet from the Center - 20 line of saidColton Avenue as shown on said Map, said portion being bounded on 21 the Northeast by the Westerly line of Mt. Vernon Avenue 82.50 feet in width and on 22 the Southeast by a line measured at right angles from the most Southerly corner of 23 Lot 20, Block 23 of said Tract. 24 is unnecessary for present or prospective public street 25 purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the 26 closing of said streets, with the Cit y reserving all utility 27 easements. 28 SECTION 2.
