Location: Northeast corner of San Bernardino Ave. and Meridian Ave. <br />APN 160-301-02, 03, 25 D <br />2. Area: Approximately 28 acres <br />3. Existing Use: Vacant <br />4. General Plan Designation: RE (residential estates) <br />5. Existing Zoning: R-1 <br />6. Surrounding Zoning and Land Use: R <br />North: R-1 (Single -Family Residential), RE (Residential Estates) <br />South: RE (Residential Estates) Existing Single -Family Residential <br />East: Railroad Tracks <br />West: R-1 (Single -Family Residential) Vacant <br />The applicant is requesting Commission consideration to allow a zone change <br />and General Plan Amendment from RE to R-1. The RE zone allows half acre <br />parcel development while the 8-1 designation allows development on 7,200- /� <br />square foot parcels. The applicant's proposed density would not exceed ap- V <br />proximately 85 7,200 -square foot lots. The applicant anticipates homes to be <br />in the range of 1,500 to 2,000 square feet in size with sale prices ranging from <br />$140,000 to $200,000.
