SOTELO, CITY MA19AGER <br />SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT OF BUILDING Date: MA,y 9, 1990 <br />INSPECTOR II <br />As the Council is aware, the development activity in the City has been at a high <br />level. This requires services of building inspectors. In order to provide such <br />services immediately, a provisional appointment of a Building Inspector II was made. <br />The appropriate employment list for building inspectors is not yet available. By <br />the personnel rules the employment list is to be established within six months. <br />Since no employment list is available, the alternatives available are to extend the <br />provisional appointment or terminate the building inspector.
