Each breaker is totally disassembled and thoroughly <br />inspected. <br />2. morn or broken parts are replaced. <br />3. Darts are replated or repainted as needed. <br />4. All hardware is replaced. <br />5. The breaker is then reassembled and is tested <br />mechanically and electrically to ensure proper working <br />condition. <br />Mechanical Test: <br />1. Each breaker is racked into a compatible substation <br />enclosure to inspect for proper stab alignment and to <br />ensure all interlocks work correctly. <br />2. Each breaker contact is then slow closed for correct <br />alignment and pressure.. <br />3. All connections a -e reinspected to ensure that they <br />are tight. <br />Electrical Test: <br />1. Insulation resistance test <br />2. Contact resistance test <br />3. High current injection test simulating overload <br />conditions <br />(low voltage power circuit breakers) <br />4.
