Sotelo, City Manager <br />,��*7 <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Double Bucket Aerial Date: October 31, 1990 <br />Man Lift and Truck to California Utility <br />Equipment., Inc. in the Amount of $135,221.30. <br />BACKGROUND <br />There is a double bucket aerial man lift and truck in the Electric <br />Department's budget for fiscal year 1990/91. On October 11, 1990, <br />General Services advertised for quotations on this requirement. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., October 29, 1990 in the <br />Corporate Yard Conference Room. A bid analysis is attached showing <br />quotations and delivery times. The recommended vendor's price <br />is underlined. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None, this is an approved budgeted requirement. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Funds have been budgeted and are available for this purchase. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that bid award be made to California Utility <br />Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $135,221.30. <br />Report prepared by: K.
