Ramos, Risk Manager��'� <br />SUB,IECT: Independent Cities Risk Management Authority, <br />New Member pocuments <br />Background: <br />L.' <br />Date : November 1, 1990 <br />The Cities of Costa Mesa, E1 Segundo and Upland have applied to join the Independent <br />Cities Risk Management Authority (ICRMA/Liability Pool). The ICRMA Governing Board <br />has previously unanimously approved their admission to the pool. <br />Statement of Problem: <br />Admission of the applicant cities is conditioned on each Governing Board City <br />taking individual Council action. The attached resolution providing for admittance <br />to membership, requires unanimous approval by member City Councils. Also attached, <br />are amendments to the Trust Agreement and Liability Risk Coverage Agreement which <br />are affected by th'e additian �f new r��mber eities. <br />Financial Impact: <br />The three new cities will comprise 9.24 percent of the pool. The City of Colton's <br />share of inembership costs will be reduced by the like percentage amount.
