Aguilera, Director of Community Development SP Oiz,
SUBJECT: Consider Amendment to the East Valley Planning Agency Joint Powers
Agreement
The City has previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement in order to form and
regulate the Airport Land Use Commission. Said Commission oversees development
within the sphere of influence of the Norton Air Base. (See Exhibit "A")
The purpose for the amendment is to remove the County's Fourth District Supervisor
as a member of the agency. This is necessitated due to the recent change in district
boundaries. in other words, the Fourth District no longer contains areas within the Air-
port Land Use Commission's sphere of influence.
The boundaries of the Fourth Supervisorial District have changed and have thereby ex-
cluded areas within the sphere of influence of the Airport Land Use Commission.
None
Staff Recommends approval of the attached City Council Resolution.
Attachments
CITY MANAGER'S CONCURREN
CITY OF COLTON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
PLANNING DIVISION
15
5L
1-4
21
i❑
I
0
0
ll
