Gonzales 4� <br />SUBJECT: parks and Recreation Appointments Date: <br />As the Council is aware, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Navarro's <br />term expired in April of 1990; Commissioner Urrea publicly resigned <br />through the news media, and another vacancy occurred through the sad <br />and untimely passing of Commissioner Koester. <br />Since these vacancies became public knowledge, a local longtime <br />resident, Mr. Jules Carvalho has expressed his desire to serve on the <br />Parks and Recreation Commission.
