C2 <br />The Corporate Yard is located on lOth and "L" street and is one mile south of the <br />Civic Center. The major north-south thoroughfares are La Cadena and Mt. Vernon. The primary <br />east-west arterials are "M" Street and Valley Blvd. <br />W�th the exception of one administrative office, the Corporate Yard is predominately industrial. <br />� The Corporate Yard is the site for the maintenance and repair of city vehicles. The Corporate <br />Yard is also used as a storage site for asphalt and sand. Direcdy east of the Corporate Yard is <br />a railroad dismantling facility. One block south of the site on "M" street is vacant undeveloped <br />� land. South of the Corporate Yard on "M" and l lth Street is a wrecking plant. Adjacent land <br />uses include retail services on La Cadena Drive and single family residences on lOth street. <br />� Freeway Access (Off-Ramps): <br />The San Bernardino freeway (I-10) is 1/4 mile north of the Corporate Yard site via the <br />w9th street off ramp. Two miles east of the Corporate Yard site is the Riverside freeway (I-215) <br />via the Mt. Vernon off ramp. The Pomona freeway (60) is 4 miles south of the site. <br />� Commuting Environment: <br />� Peak hour pedestrian and vehicular traffic is moderate to congested on major arterials and <br />thoroughfares providing access to the site.
