CITY OF COLTON <br />Fire Chief (Continued) <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />Esnerience and Training <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely <br />provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A <br />typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: <br />Iperience: <br />Eight years of increasingly responsible experience in all <br />phases of municipal fire suppression, prevention and <br />Emergency Medical Services including four years of <br />supervisory experience at or above the rank of <br />Fire Captain. <br />Traininc: <br />Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited <br />college with major course work in fire science, public or <br />business administration or a related field. A Master's <br />Degree is highly desirable. <br />License or Certificate <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid <br />California driver's license. <br />Possession of a valid EMT, CPR and First Aid certification. <br />State Certified Fire Officer. <br />
