<br />MODIFICATION OF EASEMENT
<br />THE CITY OF COLTON, a municipal corporation, (Record
<br />Owner), and SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation,
<br />(Easement Holder), successor in interest to the California Electric
<br />Power Company, a corporation, mutually agree to modify and do hereby
<br />modify the third paragraph on the first page, hereinafter referred to
<br />as "said paragraph one", and the first paragraph of the second page,
<br />hereinafter referred to as "said paragraph two", both of that certain
<br />Grant of Easement conveyed to the California Electric Power Company,
<br />a corporation, by the City of Colton, a municipal corporation,
<br />recorded August 30, 1951, in Book 2817, page 267 of Official Records,
<br />in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State
<br />of California, as follows:
<br />. WHEREAS, "said paragraph one" recites:

<br />q, "construction, maintenance, operation, reconstruction,
<br />-� replacement, improvement, inspection and repair of an
<br />electric transmission line for the transmission and
<br />distribution of electricity for any and all purposes for
<br />p which the same may be used, upon and by means of one line
<br />V of two -H frame type steel towers, with concrete footings or
<br />h o y bases, supporting and carrying three-phase circuits (nine
<br />conductor wires), together with all necessary cross arms,
<br />conductors, wires, cables, insulators, cross and angle
<br />braces, foundations, groundings, attachments, fixtures and
<br />appurtenances, on, attached to and connected with said
<br />steel towers,"
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, "said paragraph one" is hereby modified to
<br />recite:
<br />"rights of way to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to,
<br />enlarge, repair, replace, inspect, and/or remove, at any
<br />time and from to time, electric lines, consisting of metal
<br />towers, wood and/or metal poles, "H" frame structures, guy
<br />wires and anchors, crossarms, wires and other fixtures and
<br />appliances and communication circuits with necessary
<br />appurtenances, for conveying electric energy to be used for
<br />light, heat, power, telephone and/or other purposes in, on,
<br />over, along and across that certain right of way and
<br />easement as described in the hereinbefore mentioned Grant
<br />of Easement recorded August 30, 1951, in Book 2817, page
<br />267 of Official Records of said County."
