WHEREAS, COUNTY is equipped to render such service in conjunction <br />with CITY. <br />THEREFORE, it is agreed and covenanted by these parties as follows: <br />I <br />COUNTY shall, by and through it's Department of Environmental <br />Health Services: <br />1. Provide no.tification to the last registered and/or legal <br />owners of vehicles which have been posted for removal by CITY. <br />2. Provide towing services for removal of vehicles from private <br />and/or public properties (other than streets, public roadways, alleys, <br />rights-of-way and highways) which have been posted for removal by CITY. <br />3. Provide all equipment needed to remove, transport, dismantle <br />and/or store any or all vehicles which have been posted for removal by <br />CITY. <br />4. Provide necessary storage for all vehicles removed by COUNTY. <br />All removed abandoned, dismantled, inoperative, junked or wrecked <br />vehicles, or parts thereof, shall become the property of COUNTY and <br />such will be the responsibility of COUNTY to dispose of according to law. <br />5. Provide lien sale services for all vehicles removed by COUNTY <br />as needed. <br />6. Provide documentation and tracking of all vehicles removed by <br />COUNTY. <br />7. Conduct Administrative Hearings in response to written <br />requests for appeal of charges for COUNTY'S costs for removal and <br />abatement of vehicles from property located within CITY. <br />
