SOTELO, CITY MANAGER
SUBJECT: Date: 9-13-90
AMENDMENT TO THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN
FOR CONSUMER SERVICE FIELD REPRESENTATIVE
BACKGROUND:
The Electric Utility has a Meter Technician I and Meter Technician II
job classification in the department. The department
must have a full time person working on meter test, repair, change -outs
and installations.
ALTERNATIVES:
None.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The person being hired into the Consumer Service Field Representative
position that would be open, will be used to replace a Meter
Technician II position that is currently open due to a retirement,
at a salary savings of $4416 during the first year.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
None
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached job description
and salary resolution for Consumer Service Field Representative.
REPORT PREPARED BY: SANDRA KNIGHT, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Attachments:
Page t of.
ORIGINAL
Item No 22—
FILE rio. _ :-I .......... .....1 G
