SOTELO, CITY MANAGER_. / <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION Date: 9-13-90 <br />PLAN AND ADOPTION OF NEW JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR ECONOMIC/ <br />RPDFVELOPMENT ASSISTANT AND ASSOCIATE <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The positions of Assistance and Associate Planner in the Redevelopment <br />Agency have been reviewed. The job descriptions were written for <br />positions in the Community Development Department. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />The job descriptions for Assistant and Associate Planner do not <br />adequately reflect the duties performed by personnel in the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency. The new job descriptions have been developed to more <br />closely detail the duties performed with the titles "Economic/ <br />Redevelopment Assistant and Associate."
