II <br />CITY shall: <br />1. Adopt the provisions of San Bernardino County Ordinance <br />#3349, sections 33.121-33.1280, Vehicle Abatement and Removal Program, <br />by a CITY ordinance before services shall be rendered by COUNTY. Any <br />future amendments of this COUNTY ordinance must also be adopted by CITY <br />for continued services to be rendered by COUNTY. <br />2. Provide required investigations, ab-atement and removal <br />notifications to property owners and referrals to COUNTY as per San <br />Bernardino County Ordinance 43349. <br />3• Provide necessary field monitoring during the abatement <br />process while vehicles are removed from properties by COUNTY. <br />4. Provide required training and staff for a vehicle -abatement <br />and removal program within CITY. <br />5. Conduct Administrative Hearings in response to requests for <br />appeal regarding the removal and abatement of vehicles from property <br />located within CITY, and regarding related charges for CITY's <br />administrative costs. <br />III <br />If any private property owner, except self storage operators, or <br />registered or legal owner of vehicles which exist on properties located <br />within CITY, submits a written request to COUNTY to remove abandoned, <br />dismantled, inoperative, junked or wrecked vehicles, or parts thereof, <br />COUNTY will provide the requires irrvesiigations, abatement and removal <br />notifications and dispose of the vehicles according to law. COUNTY <br />will provide this service to the private property owner located within <br />CITY for the same fee charged for requests to remove vehicles from <br />private properties located within COUNTY. <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
