CLINE <br />(714) 785-5411 <br />FAX 785-7076 <br />As you know, SAWPA has opened an escrow at TICOR TITLE INSURANCE, <br />3880 Lemon Street, Riverside, California 92502, for the purchase of <br />a 75 foot strip (approx. 3 acres) of the Beckett Ranch immediately <br />adjacent to the RIX Demonstration site. Initial results of the <br />survey, and the preliminary escrow instructions, indicate that the <br />following costs will be involved in the transaction: <br />Land Purchase: 2.87 acres x $23,000/AC $66,010 <br />Escrow Costs: 100% by Buyer = 801 <br />Total $66,811 <br />This estimate, of course, is subject to change during the escrow. <br />However, it should be accurate enough for budgetary purposes. <br />Based on the above estimate, the cost to each of the cities would <br />be as follows: <br />San Bernardino: $66,811 x .75 = $50,108 <br />Colton: $66,811 x .25 = $16,703 <br />The target date for closing the escrow is March 9, 1991, therefore, <br />it is requested that the cities of Colton and San Bernardino be <br />prepared to issue a check to TICOR when the final escrow <br />instructions have been distributed. <br />Sincerely, <br />e <br />Gordon S.
